Websites have problems – it’s a fact of life. But there’s no reason not to admit it to readers – they’re likely to be understanding if you’re up front. (I for one would rather see a single-line explanation message than a page loading like it’s 1994.) For instance, this message from The Walrus even made me smile, despite the fact that I couldn’t access what I wanted. Take a page from their book and make your errors human, when they happen.





PS... change the integer in this blog's url to something else (i.e. 4) and you get an inhuman blank page with no link showing to get to the real blog...
