Dimma began her career in magazines with H&H in 1995 and eventually moved up to senior design editor. In 2000, she left the publication to work as an interior designer but returned two years later to serve as creative director responsible for the launch of H&H branded products at Eaton’s The Bay.
Dimma was for years a regular on House & Home’s eponymous TV show before creating and hosting her own television series for HGTV, Style Department, now in its third season.
“Suzanne’s strong understanding of our brand, coupled with her passion for design and her experience as a journalist, interior designer and television host, are a great combination,” H&H Media president Lynda Reeves said in a release. “She will bring much to our team and we look forward to seeing the evolution of H&H magazine under her direction. I’m really looking forward to working with Suzanne again.”
Watch MastheadOnline for an interview with Dimma in the next few days.
