This year’s Media Management Executive Education Program, jointly produced by the
Canadian Journalism Foundation and the
Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto has announced changes for the second year of its program.
New this year, some of Canada’s most senior media professionals, including attendees of last year’s program will act as “experts in residence” and provoke insight into how lessons at the conference can be applied in the workplace. Also introduced this year, registrants are encouraged to submit management issues ahead of time, to provide real-life case studies which will be discussed during the program.
The three-day program, which will be held at The Bank of Montreal’s Institute for Learning in Toronto from October 15 to 17 features speakers including Los-Angeles-based columnist, reporter and former editor at large at
Fortune magazine Richard Siklos, Thomson Reuters global editor at large Chrystia Freeland and Monitor Group consulting group senior partner Jonathan Goodman. Additional guest speakers will be announced in the coming weeks, according to a program press release.
