[St. Joseph Media] launched a new iPhone/iPad app today "that gives Torontonians instant access to the best dining experiences in the city."
critics selected and reviewed 400+ restaurants in the city to feature in the app. "Our reviewers are anonymous and unbiased," reads the app's 'How We Do It' page. "Restaurant bills are paid by Toronto Life
, reviews have no connection to advertising." That being said, advertising is not being sold within the app, noted a Toronto Life
spokesperson. The publisher earns revenue from app sales.

Restaurants are searchable by neighbourhood, price or cuisine [among other search parameters], and users can set the app to provide recommendations based on certain criteria. Using your phone's GPS, the app will let the user know which restaurants are close by.
