Management at TC Media's Vancouver office leaving company
Two veteran magazine professionals are out the door at TC Media's Vancouver office. The publisher and editorial director of TC Media's Western Living and Vancouver Magazine are no longer with the company, but it's unclear why.

An internal memo was sent anonymously to Masthead that explained "following a well thought-out restructuring" publisher Kim Peacock and editorial director Gary Ross in the company's Vancouver office "are leaving TC Media" effective immediately. The internal note said Caroline Andrews, TC Media group publisher, will be taking over responsibilities.

The company confirmed the two are leaving TC Media, but would not disclose why, citing confidentiality. Peacock joined the Vancouver office in October 2005, while Ross joined shortly afterwards in January 2006.

"Western Living and Vancouver Magazine, as well as the prestigious events associated with these titles, are strong brands that resonate well with readers and advertisers. And TC Media is committed to keep on growing and strengthening its brands by making sure they are thriving and viable in the long term," reads the memo.

The memo suggests TC Media will introduce "new positions shortly to bring new talent onboard" while "starting the recruitment process for a manager of the Western titles, based out of Vancouver."
